Taberna do Trasno was a short walk from our hotel - The Parador - and was perfect for some Sunday evening light bites after a big lunch earlier in the day. The welcome was warm and friendly as we arrived early - 2030hrs is when they open for dinner, edited here on Google. We shared a bottle of delicious Galician red wine from Bierzo alongside some delicious appetizers, that were perfect for us. Now. To the ceviche. This is quite probably the best ceviche that we’ve had. Anywhere. In the world! The depth of flavour in it was truly magnificent!
Pleasing arty/modernist vibe to the decor. But it’s the seafood you come for. Delicious butterfish ceviche and razor clams, and the tuna perfectly done too. The desserts were good as well, reasonably priced and with a good wine list. Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful setting in the heart of Cambados with a perfect blend of Galician tradition and modern flair. The grilled octopus was outstanding, and every dish was full of flavor and creativity. Cozy ambiance, excellent wine, and a memorable experience overall. A must-visit if you’re in Rías Baixas!
